Surbhi Glass Pvt Ltd in Manesar, Gurgaon, is one that provides full glass solutions The company incepted in 1996, today functions under the stewardship of Sunil Shah, MD and his wife Veena Shah, daughter Surbhi Shah, who are both Directors. It has a total of three manufacturing units, two in Manesar and one in Jaipur

Sunil born in Guwahati, originally hails from Rajasthan, Father, Shri Narendra Kumar Shah was a Chartered Accountant and Vice President of the prestigious Bangur Group He currently looks after the finance of Surbhi Glass Pvt Ltd. Sunil, after doing. BCom from Jodhpur University, set up business there but soon realised that Delhi and NCR Region had better opportunities because of rapid development in real estate. Hence he came to Delhi in 1996 and set up a retail counter in Sikandarpur, Gurgaon and started his proprietor firm by the name of Surbhi Float Glass Co.

His early days were tough, in fact for the first six months there was almost no business. He had to bear the shop rent and salary of employees from his own pocket. He was thinking of winding up and going back to Jodhpur but a neighbourhood friend advised him to give another try. As luck would have it, within a few days he got his first break from Sarita Handa, an internationally acclaimed luxury home decor brand which was making its office and there was no looking back since then.

He worked hard day and night and owing to his timely deliverance, good quality and fair pricing, he started getting more projects. Says Sunil, "Passion is the fuel that drives the engine of success." He slowly started taking retail projects. He set up his first company for which he went to China. It was in 2008 that he set up a toughened glass plant in Sector 5 in IMT Manesar and got direct allotment from HSIIDC in Manesar after interview. He started manufacturing under brand name Surbhi Tuff. The toughened glass is used for building facades as it is four to five times stronger than normal annealed glass. With the booming real estate, the business gave good returns.

In 2010 Sunil started the second manufacturing unit in Jaipur and began manufacturing lamination glass as well as insulated glass, besides toughened glass. Lamination glass is used in commercial projects. In 2022 Sunil set up the uPVC door and window unit by the name of Surbhi uPVC Windoors Tech in collaboration with Prominance UPVC window system, providing end to end solutions.
